Anyone who has some understanding of magic will understand how mind control works. If we are feeling very emotional, very doubtful, worried, or mentally drained, we are vulnerable to attack. Our doubts about ourselves are like blood to a vampire and that vampire will psychically attack the neck of your mind and sway it to a particular idea or way of thinking if it so wishes. It may just want to drain you of energy and be done with you or it may want to control you to the point of a slave. It is nothing short of spiritual warfare.
In warfare, there is no need for guns if psychic warfare is perfected. If the masses are under the spell of psychic manipulation, they are nothing but machines to be programmed. If one is psychically weak and spiritually ignorant, one is merely food for the lions. It is well-known, governments have set up top-secret studies of applying psychic techniques for political gains. The CIA, the Russians, the Chinese, etc.
For example, electronic mood control devices were used to manipulate students rioting in the late sixties obtained from the psychic studies of project pandora, which by mimicking natural brain frequencies, moods and emotions could be controlled remotely by use of extremely low frequency broadcasts carried by pulse modulated microwave beams (remote mind control technology).
Even on the individual level, people will try to affect your mind’s way of thinking.
Dion Fortune said
“The commonest form of psychic attack is that which proceeds from the ignorant or malignant mind of our fellow human beings. We say ignorant as well as malignant, for all attacks are not deliberately motived; the injury may be as accidental as that inflicted by a skidding car. This must always be borne in mind, and we should not impute malice or wickedness as a matter of course when we feel we are being victimised.
“Our persecutor may himself be a victim. We should not accuse a man of malice if we had linked hands with him and he had stepped on a live rail. Nevertheless, we should receive at his hands a severe shock. So, it may be with many an occult attack. The person from whom it emanates may not have originated it. Therefore, we should never respond to attack by attack, thus bringing ourselves down to the moral level of our attackers, but rely upon more humane methods, which are, in reality, equally effectual and far less dangerous to handle.”

However, there are those who do have malicious intent. On the individual level and also the collective level. Here I will talk about the collective level. It is quite obvious the psychic hygiene of the masses is poor; bathing in the dirty water that is the black magic of mass media, pouring into the bucket of the subconscious neurotic inducing poison, only ever leading to confusion and becoming blind to Truth.
Edward Bernays told us in his book Propaganda
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized.
“Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
In the same book, he said
“Universal literacy was supposed to educate the common man to control his environment. Once he could read and write he would have a mind fit to rule. So ran the democratic doctrine. But instead of a mind, universal literacy has given him rubber stamps, rubber stamps inked with advertising slogans, with editorials, with published scientific data, with the trivialities of the tabloids and the platitudes of history, but quite innocent of original thought.
“Each man’s rubber stamps are the duplicates of millions of others, so that when those millions are exposed to the same stimuli, all receive identical imprints. It may seem an exaggeration to say that the American public gets most of its ideas in this wholesale fashion. The mechanism by which ideas are disseminated on a large scale is propaganda, in the broad sense of an organized effort to spread a particular belief or doctrine.”
Mind control is a serious thing. It is not some conspiracy. It is happening in plain sight. It is happening on the News, in the newspapers, on the music you hear on the radio, on the TV shows you watch, etc. The problem is this: mind control is most effective upon the weak-minded and spiritually ignorant. What we are dealing with is the oppression of awakening. That is, the control of the mind to the point of distraction and confusion because those of a certain spiritual intelligence cannot be controlled. They are aware and see the patterns of belief and doctrine. In the war of the mind, awareness is a nuclear bomb.
For example, it is a fact that one can have no physical constraints, yet be psychologically in prison, held captive by belief, by ways of thinking, by the doctrine of one’s national state to feel a certain way, etc. The walls of the prison are invisible and so it is very easy to believe there is no prison at all. It is one of the most effective psychic weapons: To manipulate the prisoner to the point they believe they are no prisoner at all. They are nothing but a robot programmed to think, act and feel in accordance with their master.
The chief weapons of control are words. Suggestions of theories, of ideas, of tastes. Rituals of persuasion to shape the psychic reality of the masses. Repetition of words to enforce an idea into the subconscious. The masses are, to put in the words of Walter Lippmann ‘’a bewildered herd’’ staggering around in a daze.
Take advertisements for example. They are using the power of suggestion and repetition to manipulate your mind so you buy a product that you don’t really need. Is fast food good for our bodies? Are sugary drinks good for our health? The music that reaches the top 10 is repeated constantly on the radio. Is the music we hear on the radio evolving our souls? No. the majority is shallow garbage that does nothing for our spiritual hygiene.
It is understood that once a person’s attitude is open to suggestion (hypnosis) they are vulnerable to anyone who wants to shape their behaviour in the direction they wish. They are being primed and conditioned to react to certain stimuli in a controlled manner.
But we come back to spiritual hygiene. That is, to be free from the vulnerability of mind control, one must go beyond thought and into awareness. As J. Krishnamurti said, “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
The social psychologist, Dr. Solomon Asch carried out a study in the 1950s in which he found that social conformity showed up in the areas of the brain which are entirely concerned with perception, and independent judgment was found in areas of the brain that are entirely concerned with emotion. Telling us, there is a price to pay to go against groupthink. Our emotions override our perceptions. Like grey fog over a clear blue sky. The fog blinds us to the truth, bringing doubts to intuition, to perception, to reality. We become emotional and react like beasts, confused and scared. The mantra is: You will believe what the group tells you to believe or be punished.
Society is sick because it is not aware, it is totally engrossed in the mind and all of its chaos. It is a common misconception that a mind empty of thought and all its madness is mindless, nothingness, non-existing… in fact, when thought disappears, you become mindful. When the mind is not mindful, it reacts according to the past. It is reacting to its programming, like a machine, unaware how to consciously respond. A society that is aware responds consciously and is mindful of reality and thus reality cannot be bent toward some android like state.
But it is a fact, society at this moment in time is mostly robotic, machine-like, habitually reactive and thus the psychic realities of the masses are vulnerable to their own ignorance and that ignorance is manipulated by others to more greatly confuse and gain power and control in more than one dimension of human reality.
What will the future be if the world is led by a ruling elite who manipulate the psychic realities of the masses because their spiritual hygiene is so poor, their actions are nothing but mechanical reactions to controlled stimuli? They do not think, act or feel freely, that is, they can be automated to do anything the ruling elite decides, they are nothing but playthings to be ordered and governed. How far will the control go?
If we are not careful and we do not wash our souls with the soap of awareness, the masses are vulnerable to things far worse than anything George Orwell or Aldous Huxley ever imagined.
